Why do I have to return my order from the country of delivery?Updated 16 days ago

You’ve moved, you're traveling, or you live abroad?
 We totally get that you might want to send your pair back from France (especially if you’re just passing through and CAVAL is a French brand 🇫🇷).

But heads up: even if it seems easier or faster, returns must always be sent from the country where the order was originally delivered.

📦 A Matter of Logistics (and Reliability)

Our return labels, carrier network, and warehouse are all set up country by country.
 That’s why returns must be sent from the original delivery country:

✅ 1. For reliable tracking
 Each label is generated for a specific country and carrier.

A return sent from another country risks being:
 • untrackable,
 • sent to the wrong address,
 • or rejected upon arrival.

📍 2. To match our warehouse’s organization
 Our warehouse sorts and processes returns by geographic zones.
 A return from “outside the zone” may not be correctly identified → and therefore might never be processed.

🧾 3. Because the return label isn’t valid elsewhere
 The return labels you receive are only valid in the original country of delivery.
 → They won’t work in another country or with another carrier.



⚠️ The Key Takeaway

Even if it seems more convenient, a return sent from a different country cannot be processed, refunded, or exchanged.

Best to avoid trying, your parcel could end up lost or blocked.



✈️ In another country at the time of return ?

 Here are two options:

• Ask someone in the delivery country to drop off the return for you.
 • Or wait until you're back there to send the parcel.
